This is a sneak peak of our V 2.0 process that is still in production. Since we're creating a marketplace there is much more work that goes into it compared to some other software types. We have to build 3 different views for each feature that we develop. The user, the host, and how it shows up on the Admin side. As you can see I organized the Kanban board features into category pages, so it is easier for our developers as we're moving through.
Below are a couple of our V 2.0 page designs that I created inside of Sketch. The host pages and then the listing page that will showcase each hosts listings and all of the features they select.
This is a promotional video that we created to spread word of mouth and get some organic marketing going while we build out our V 2.0 site . I created the designs and put together the script for the video and drone footage while I hired a motion graphics creator to bring home the vision for less than $150 total. The traffic was sent to our MVP site that I created in wordpress in about 3 weeks. This video and site created a buzz in Tulsa that signed on 4 hosts in Tulsa and transacted multiple bookings. We eventually added hosts in 6 different cities organically.
After much planning and diligence on this business model we decided to go all in and design for mobile app first. I created these designs in Sketch then imported them into Framer to prototype and resemble a working app. Since my cofounder and I are bootstrapping we decided to stay lean and put our mobile app on hold and prove out our model with an MVP web app first before moving to a mobile app.
